Alan Ball moves from dead to undead

Here's a holdover of sorts for Six Feet Under fans: Creator Alan Ball has just launched a new HBO series, True Blood, which he'll produce and co-write. It's about vampires who fit into civilization by surviving on synthetic blood, and it's based on author Charlaine Harris' series of Southern Vampire novels. (Variety)
