Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, and more to cover Peter Gabriel for a new compilation

A few years back, Peter Gabriel released an album, Scratch My Back, that found him covering tracks by Arcade Fire, Lou Reed, Bon Iver, and more. Now he’s announced the counterpart to that record, And I’ll Scratch Yours, due out Sept. 23. Yours finds many of the artists that Gabriel covered returning the favor and covering him right back. A full tracklist is below, but highlights include Arcade Fire doing “Games Without Frontiers,” Lou Reed doing “Solsbury Hill,” and Randy Newman taking on “Big Time.” A couple of the tracks have even popped up online already; those are also below.
Some of the artists originally featured on Scratch didn’t actually make the move to And I’ll. Radiohead, David Bowie, and Neil Young, for instance, were unable to record covers of Gabriel tracks. (Joseph Arthur and Elbow stepped in instead.)
