Who she is: Ayesha
Her power: As the leader of the Sovereigns, Ayesha is both wealthy and incredibly powerful. She commands a massive army of drones, and is apparently capable of creating artificial life.
Her story: Ayesha, leader of the Sovereign race, hires the Guardians Of The Galaxy at the beginning of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, tasking them with protecting her precious Anulax Batteries from some kind of giant space monster. When Rocket Raccoon betrays her by pocketing them for himself, she goes ballistic, unleashing an armada of drones, and eventually creating a new artificial being—Adam—to exact her revenge on the team.
