Better Call Saul is back for seconds
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Wednesday, February 9. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Better Call Saul (AMC, 10 p.m.): Back so soon, Better Call Saul continues its two-night premiere tonight with “Mijo.” That’s right! You don’t have to wait long at all to get your second fix of Bob Odenkirk’s Saul Goodman. In his pre-air review, Erik Adams writes that “any doubts that Odenkirk can carry the series are expertly dispelled in a whirlwind courthouse montage in episode two.” See if this meets your expectations and then check back in TV Club for former Breaking Bad correspondent Donna Bowman’s analysis.
Also noted
Jane The Virgin (The CW, 9 p.m.): In “Chapter Thirteen,” Jane faces medical problems that could interfere with her graduation. Michael thinks he has finally figured out Sin Rostro’s real identity, but joke’s on him because we already know it’s Rose/Sin Rosetro/The Best-Worst Evil Stepmom In The Game. Between Agent Carter and Jane, Bridget Regan is pulling double duty on playing beautiful psycho villains, and we here at What’s On Tonight are very here for it. Never forget this look she gave when literally burying her husband alive in cement:
Long live Sin Rosetro!
