The new promo for season three of Brooklyn Nine-Nine introduces the new boss of the nine-nine, played by Bill Hader. With Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) leaving the squad at the end of season two to pursue a public relations position for the NYPD, Hader steps in as the new precinct captain in the season three premiere, although he is only set to be a temporary replacement. According to the promo, the new boss in town has a simple motto: “efficiency, efficiency, efficiency,” something this particular precinct has never really mastered. He already appears to be a bit more of a loose cannon than the even-toned, forever-unfazed Captain Holt.
Archie Panjabi is also set to appear the new season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which returns to Fox at 8:30 p.m. on September 27. Unfortunately, she does not appear in the promo, but in the meantime, let’s all just appreciate this photo.
