“Rebel Yell” singer Billy Idol is “Still Dancing” on his first full-length album in 11 years. The lead single for Dream Into It is “a reflection of my whole journey,” the rock n’ roll frontman said in a statement. “From the punk rock period through to now. And I’m still looking towards the future, still living the life I set out to live.”

Dream Into It will see Idol once again lean into the unapologetic rock n’ roll decadence that made him such a hit-maker in the ’70s and ’80s. “I’m still dancing/Now I’m in control/I’ve got everything I need/Next to me/From L.A. to Tokyo,” he sings in “Still Dancing.”

This time, Idol won’t be dancing with himself. Avril Lavigne, Joan Jett, and Alison Mosshart of The Kills all feature on the upcoming record. Joan Jett and her band The Blackhearts will also be joining Idol on all dates of his upcoming world tour, cheekily named “It’s A Nice Day To… Tour Again!”

Idol is undergoing something of a renaissance right now. In addition to the album, he was also nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the first time this month. “I’m really knocked out,” he told Billboard of the nomination. “It caught me by surprise today, and I was completely bowled over.”
