Book a room at The Grand Overlook Hotel, a mashup of Wes Anderson and The Shining

Most people loved Wes Anderson’s latest film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. While it suggested darker overtones of war and violence, it remained a whimsical Anderson foray into manners and misadventures. But wouldn’t it have been better if it also involved psychic powers, death by axe, and a cogent metaphor for alcoholism? That’s the idea behind “The Grand Overlook Hotel,” which combines footage from both the Anderson film and Kubrick’s The Shining to produce a madcap descent into madness.
