Cardi B is the first female rapper to ever top the Billboard charts 2 times
Back in April, Cardi B took a shot at the queen by breaking Beyoncé’s record for the most simultaneous tracks on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The success of Invasion Of Privacy gave her 13 songs on the list, beating Beyoncé’s post-Lemonade total by one. Now, Cardi B has broken another record by becoming the first female rapper to ever get two no. 1 tracks on the Hot 100 chart. Her first was “Bodak Yellow,” and this week she topped the Billboard chart again with “I Like It” off of Invasion Of Privacy. The track also features Bad Bunny and J Balvin, making this the first chart-topper for them as well.
