Catch one hour of 24 Hours On Earth
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Tuesday, March 11. All times are Eastern.
TOP PICK
24 Hours On Earth (BBC America, 9 p.m.): BBC Natural History cameras recently traveled to the four corners of the globe to capture a full day in the life of planet Earth—so the least you can do is give the fruits of their labor an hour of your time. But to Genevieve Valentine, there’s nothing cuter than the doc’s narrator, Matthew Macfadyen, describing the mating habits of the weedy seadragon. It’s adorable—and educational!

The Originals (The CW, 8 p.m.): Originals fans: Your efforts are valiant, but they’re still not enough to save your show from the stake that’s waiting somewhere down the line. What more does Rowan Kaiser have to do? Embed the Count Duckula theme in every review?

New Girl (Fox, 9 p.m.): Flat broke and in sudden legal trouble, Schmidt can only turn to the law firm of Miller & Bishop. When Erik Adams slipped and fell, Miller & Bishop got him back on his feet—and that was pretty much it. They helped him up off the ground.
