CBS realizes people will pay to keep commercials out of their Star Trek
CBS has gotten wise and realized that ads are not part of the utopian future Gene Roddenberry envisioned. The network announced today that it will be offering a commercial-free version of CBS All Access, which ensures that for just slightly more money people won’t have to endure brands’ yammering when they watch Star Trek: Discovery. To subscribe will cost $9.99 per month, which is $4 more than the previously-offered version.
