Chicago, dig up the new Pet Sematary early and for free
Is dead better? In the case of the upcoming Pet Sematary remake, maybe not, based on the positive reviews the film got after its world premiere at SXSW earlier this month. Directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer, the duo behind the 2014 horror cult favorite Starry Eyes, this new take on Pet Sematary changes a key element of Stephen King’s original novel, while also delving deeper into the folk-horror element of the book than Mary Lambert’s original 1989 movie.
