Chicago, get obsessed with Greta early and for free
French cinema icon Isabelle Huppert gave us the creeps in Paul Verhoeven’s challenging, corrosive Elle, and she’s back in psycho mode in Greta, the latest film from The Crying Game director Neil Jordan. Chloe Grace Moretz co-stars as a naive young NYC transplant who becomes the object of Huppert’s sinister obsession in this loopy thriller with shades of Fatal Attraction and Takahi Miike’s infamous Audition.
If that sounds like just your kind of trash—and you happen to live in Chicago—then you’re in luck: We’re sponsoring a screening of Greta at our usual location of the AMC River East 21 (322 E Illinois St.) on Monday, February 25 at 7:00PM. To enter to win one of 50 admit-two passes to the screening, simply follow this link and enter some basic information. Just be sure to arrive early, as advance screenings are intentionally overbooked to ensure capacity.
