Dumb And Dumber sequel picked up by Universal, so they're telling you there's a chance
Just over a week after Warner Bros. shut down its controversial “So you’re telling me there’s a chance?”-monitoring program code-named Dumb And Dumber To, the Farrelly Brothers have announced that Universal and Red Granite Pictures have picked up the sequel. “So you’re telling me there’s a chance?” millions of chance-hoping-for people told each other in regards to whether there was a chance someone could be telling them about, to which the Farrelly Brothers have now responded in the affirmative. “IT’S OFFICIAL: Dumb And Dumber To is going into production,” the directing duo revealed on Twitter, the No. 1 website for chance-telling, later telling you there’s also a chance you could win a walk-on role.
As we previously told you, there’s a chance Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey will reprise their roles as Harry and Lloyd nearly 20 years later, as they attempt to track down one of their long-lost children so they can tell them there’s a chance. “So… you’re telling me there’s a chance,” fans said for what is likely the last time, seeing as there’s a one-out-of-a-million chance that reference will continue to be appropriate in regards to this project. So, we’re telling you there’s a chance. [via Coming Chances]
