Upcoming Amazon series Criminal hit with hostile work environment suit
Producers on the series are accused of turning a blind eye to alleged unprofessional conduct from showrunner and famed comics writer Ed Brubaker.

Amazon MGM has been working on its TV adaptation of Ed Brubaker‘s comic series Criminal for two years at this point, with Brubaker—a well-known comics writer whose influence pervades Marvel’s MCU (and its depiction of the Winter Soldier, specifically)—serving as a first-time showrunner on the series. Now, though, production companies on the series (including Amazon and Big Indie Pictures) have been hit with a hostile work environment lawsuit, alleging that they turned a blind eye toward Brubaker’s conduct on the series—including an accusation that he pointed a working (but presumably unloaded) firearm at a production assistant’s head and pulled the trigger.
