FX picks up new "money ruins people" series from Better Call Saul showrunner Peter Gould
The Better Call Saul co-creator has just sold FX on Disinherited, about a pair of sisters who suddenly inherit a big pile of money/problems.

Peter Gould has spent most of the more critically lauded portions of his career working within what those inclined to auteur-ism might term “The Vince Gilligan Ecosystem”—gaining acclaim as a writer and then a producer on Breaking Bad, before serving as co-creator and eventually sole showrunner for its excellent spin-off Better Call Saul. (A pretty long way to go from his first official Hollywood credit, co-writing the screenplay for the utterly ridiculous 1994 Double Dragon movie.) Now, though, Gould (who recently was credited as a consulting producer on Gilligan’s Pluribus) is striking out on his own, as FX announced that it’s picking up his new TV pilot, Disinherited, to series.
