Germs drummer Don Bolles is selling off his old punk flyers

As the drummer for the Germs, one of Los Angeles’ earliest punk bands, Don Bolles was around to collect a number of flyers that chronicled the burgeoning days of West Coast punk and hardcore. Now, pieces of that punk history could be yours, as Bolles is offering some of them to those that have $75 to spend on an old flyer. Bolles’ collection is up for sale at punkflyer.com, where you’ll find a variety of vintage gig promos for bands such as Sonic Youth, Christian Death, 45 Grave, The Fall, Circle Jerks, Black Flag, and plenty of others, along with a smattering of press kits and fanzines. Many of the bigger names are already gone, the proceeds of which having likely enabled Bolles to focus on his true passion: Buying big, fuzzy hats.
