It sounds like Larry David is thinking about Curb Your Enthusiasm again
The last season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm aired all the way back in 2011, but it sounds like Larry David might finally be ready to return for another season of brutally miserable adventures, cringe-worthy misunderstandings, and that thing where he makes a face and the camera slowly zooms in while the theme music plays—which is always pretty, pretty, pretty good. This comes from David’s Curb co-star J.B. Smoove, who revealed during a recent interview on The Rich Eisen Show that David has actually been talking about Curb lately. “I call Larry every two weeks, because he’s old,” Smoove said, adding, “I always check on older people.”
Apparently, during one of these chats, David brought up Curb and said that he’s “thinking about coming back.” He even asked Smoove if he’d be available, to which Smoove responded that he’d “move anything to the side for Curb Your Enthusiasm.” David himself hasn’t commented on this, but with Bernie Sanders’ chances at the White House basically nonexistent at this point, it seems like David isn’t going to be asked to pop in on Saturday Night Live again anytime soon. There’s obviously no word on when this hypothetical ninth season of Curb would premiere or what sort of story it might tell, but…come on, does that really matter? It’s more Curb.
