In the new trailer for Sex & The City, the schlocky ladyism is so thick you can cut it with a knife–then stab it repeatedly till all the puns, and botox jokes, and cliches have bled out and it stops moving. Still, co-dependancy masked as friendship has never looked so glamourous! And the film has a great message: Life is not a fairy tale (Fantasia Barrino was right!), even though this depiction of life is so fantastical and broad it should come wrapped between a gigantic, heavy set of scare quotes. So, basically, life is a Lifetime movie.
