Jodie Whittaker won't be regenerating for a while on Doctor Who
Jodie Whittaker’s first season zipping around in the TARDIS on Doctor Who has been a huge success, so fans should be happy to hear that she has no plans of pulling an Eccleston and ditching the show after only one season. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Whittaker said that her time as the Doctor has been “an extraordinary journey so far” and that she’s “not quite ready to hand it over yet.” That’s sort of a spoiler for tonight’s season finale or the New Year’s Day special that the show is doing this year instead of its usual Christmas special, but Doctor Who cast changes are typically such a big deal that we probably would’ve already heard if a new Doctor was coming in to replace Whittaker so soon.
