Lena Dunham is taking her Lenny Letter newsletter on tour

Save for one last-minute controversy, HBO’s Girls is over, and now showrunners Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner have decided to celebrate by taking Dunham’s feminist email newsletter Lenny Letter on tour. This comes from Entertainment Weekly, which says the two of them will be joined by Saturday Night Live‘s Sasheer Zamata, author Chloe Caldwell, poet Jenny Zhang, author Kaitlyn Greenidge, 2 Broke Girls writer Morgan Murphy, People Of Earth writer Charla Lauriston, singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield, poet Rachel McKibbens, and comedian Jaqueline Novak, all of whom have previously contributed to the newsletter.

In a statement, Dunham and Konner said that they wanted to “engage in a larger conversation across America” instead of just publishing the newsletter, and they intend to promote the work of women who share their goals of “freedom, self-actualization, and the perfect night out.” The shows will involve readings, musical performances, film screenings, and question-and-answer sessions. Tickets go on sale later this week, but Lenny Letter subscribers will be getting early access codes. You can see the full set of tour dates below.
