Fox News dumps Maria Bartiromo 

After disappearing from air weeks ago, Bartiromo was denied the chance to say goodbye to her viewers or given the benefit of a final show. It was an abrupt end to Bartiromo’s decade at the network, which has already begun reshaping her former posts. Fox Business Network’s long-running series Mornings With Maria shall henceforth be known as Mornings With Fox Business. Meanwhile, her weekly show, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street, will become, you guessed it, FBN’s Wall Street. They’re giving her Sunday show, Sunday Morning Futures, to ghoulish former Republican congressman and current Fox anchor, Jason Chaffetz. 

There has been some reporting on her ouster. The L.A. Times claims she shared a company email with the President of the United States, which Status backed up by saying it was actually a company letter ordering employees to pump the brakes on Chinese data center conspiracies—hence why Fox didn’t cover Trump’s televised crash-out on the matter as extensively as normal in July. Bartiromo found herself in hot water in June, after tossing the conspiracy theory to “Mr. Wonderful” Kevin O’Leary during an interview. Those claims grew into a defamation suit weeks later. She was also named in the $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit from voting machine company Smartmatic and the $1.6 billion defamation suit by Dominion Voting, which claims she broadcast false statements about Dominion’s voting machines during the 2020 election. Nevertheless, she continued promoting falsehoods about the election on air. Still, we must acknowledge the truth about Bartiromo: She’s the only Wall St. analyst to inspire a Joey Ramone song.
