With its sophomore album Tired of Tomorrow slated for an imminent release, Philadelphia noise-pop band Nothing dropped a colorful video today for the single “Vertigo Flowers.” While the song invokes the dreary shoegaze of many a guitar-driven ’90s band, the video sees each member of Nothing get splattered with rainbow-colored paints while wearing a white jumpsuit.
“Vertigo Flowers” presages what’s expected to be a great record when Tired of Tomorrow releases May 13 on Relapse Records: As Nothing’s reverb-heavy sound envelopes the track, frontman Domenic Palermo’s vocals float above the fray, providing the kind of warmth that made the band’s 2014 debut, Guilty of Everything, such a hit. You can watch the video below, as well as look over the Tired Of Tourism Tour dates the band released on its Facebook page earlier today.
