'Radio' was its father's name; you can call it 'The Shack.'

Early this morning, representatives of Radio Shack switched on 14-foot-tall laptops in New York's Times Square and San Francisco's Justin Herman Plaza, and started beaming live webcam images between the two. Why? To promote the company's rebranding effort. As Radio Shack's website explains: "Our Friends Call Us 'The Shack.'" Now you can be Radio Shack's friend and start calling it "The Shack" too! As in: "Hey, I'm headin' down to The Shack to pick up some shitty batteries," or, "My folks bought me this cheap-ass LCD game at The Shack."
