RuPaul’s Drag Race announces the latest batch of all-stars to bask in the shade of it all

Sure, the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars saw Trixie Mattel snatch away a crown meant for Shangela, but it’s time to tuck it up and move on. (Shangie is, after all, starring in movies with Lady Gaga now.) Today, Entertainment Weekly revealed the latest batch of queens to return for a second shot at drag glory, and though RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 4 doesn’t pack the wattage of previous seasons, its cast most certainly isn’t lacking in personality.

Leading the pack is fan-favorite, Latrice Royale, who tells EW that she’s bringing “old school values” back to the runway. “Get back to basics: Sing the song and tell the story,” she says, which makes us wonder what she’ll think of Monét X Change reportedly doubling down on her sponge dress from season 10 with a ShamWow-inspired look. Other notable names include season 7's hilarious Jasmine Masters, as well as the villainous Manila Luzon, the daffy Gia Gunn, and the leggy Naomi Smalls. There’s several season 9 alums in the cast, including Trinity Taylor, Valentina, and Farrah Moan, who Naomi hints isn’t all that “realistic” about reality.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 4 premieres on December 14th on VH1, but be sure to tune in a week earlier for the inaugural RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-slay Spectacular, which brings together queens like Trixie, Shangie, Kim Chi, and Eureka O’Hara for a competition that’s bound to turn Santa’s cheeks extra rosy.
