Sarah Silverman joins the cast of the Lonely Island movie

Sarah Silverman has joined the cast of that boy band-boosting Lonely Island movie. The comedian will star alongside Andy Samberg’s rapper character, playing a publicist who The Hollywood Reporter says is both “sharp and sarcastic” and “has to suffer many indignities,” like being the publicist for a washed-up rapper who was once in a boy band. Production on the movie, which The Lonely Island is calling The Lonely Island Presents: Top Secret Untitled Lonely Island Movie, began this week in Los Angeles. There is no release date, and Judd Apatow is producing.
