We don’t know very much about Universal’s plan to set up an entire Avengers-like universe of classic monsters, but some set photos from the Mummy reboot at least seem to suggest that its eponymous monster is going for a pretty classic look. Granted, the mummy aesthetic is fairly well-established at this point, but with modern Hollywood you never when something is going to be replaced with a computer-generated cartoon or whatever. According to Coming Soon (via io9), the set photos were snapped by the World Entertainment News Network, and they feature Kingsman’s Sofia Boutella wrapped in some sufficiently spooky rags.
