Sorry To Bother You, Chicago, but we've got a free advance screening

Sorry To Bother You is one of our most anticipated films of the summer, starring Atlanta’s Keith Stanfield and Thor: Ragnarok’s Tessa Thompson in a surreal comedy about code-switching that premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival (where The A.V. Club’s A.A. Dowd gave it a dissenting negative review). Stanfield stars as Cassius Green, an Oakland telemarketer whose prowess with “white voice” (provided by David Cross) attracts the attention of coke-snorting CEO Steve Lift (Armie Hammer). Cassius’ girlfriend, anarchic performance artist Detroit (Thompson), however, is less than impressed with his corporate mobility.
