Star Wars 1313 concept art is probably better than the game would have been

Introducing Endless Mode: A New Games & Anime Site from Paste
Kotaku’s Luke Plunkett has posted concept art for Star Wars 1313, a video game that was canceled last year amid Disney’s takeover of Lucasfilm. The renderings of futuristics cities and military outposts were created by the Brazilian artist Bruno Werneck, who Plunkett notes has also contributed to Titanfall and Star Trek Into Darkness, among other high-profile entertainments.
The Star Wars 1313 project was unveiled at the E3 trade show in 2012 with a trailer that indicated the game would be an “Uncharted…in space!” kind of deal. Werneck’s detailed, impeccably lit pictures almost certainly write checks that Star Wars 1313 would not have been able to cash.
