According to an Associated Press analysis, TV programmers really, really like lists now. VH1's explosion of list-centric programming gets the credit, but I think we all know who's really behind this.

Seems like a good time to round up assorted iPhone coverage, since it's apparently the only thing you will ever need to be entertained from now on: Slate media critic Jack Shafer tracks the hyperbolic suck-up pieces; Slate's own review is pretty tough; Wired mostly looks on the bright side; Crave won't shut up about it; and so on.
