The Apple tablet, a.k.a. the iPad is finally unveiled

Hey all, we're just as curious about Apple's new gizmo as you are. The press conference happened earlier today, and my favorite place to learn about the thing is Gizmodo's live blog. Below this post, unlimited space in which to discuss this new giant iPhone. Will you get one? Will they be issued to future generations at the hospital, just after birth?

Here's a CNN piece in case you want you want more easily digestible information. In short: It starts shipping in 60 days. It's available in three hard-drive sizes, ranging in price from $500-$700. It's like a cross between two things you may already own, an iPhone and a laptop.
