Samuel L. Jackson battles terrorists from inside his presidential super-car in The Beast trailer

Samuel L. Jackson is tired of all these motherfuckin’ terrorists blowing up his motherfuckin’ presidential limo in the trailer for Renny Harlin’s The Beast. In the film, Jackson plays the President of the United States, who, as his head of state did in 2014 Jackson-starring Big Game, battles terrorists who clearly don’t know what world leader they’re messing with.

Thankfully, this President has The Beast, the code name for the heavily armored and (as it turns out in the suitably bananas red band trailer) armed presidential limo, which, in Jackson’s action-capable hands, turns into a POTUS-powered weapon of mass destruction. Swapping out the White House Down/Olympus Has Fallen president-in-peril dynamic, this time Jackson’s prez is saddled with protecting a gut-shot Secret Service agent, played by Joel Kinnaman, bleeding all over the upholstery when not being taught by the kick-ass president how to properly pronounce “motherfucker.”

The trailer promises non-stop action from genre veteran Renny Harlin, touted as the director of long-ago action hits like Cliffhanger and Die Hard 2 (and not the more recent The Strangers trilogy, notably), with Jackson’s leader gleefully discovering all the Nick Fury-style, top secret, taxpayer-funded gadgets the titular transport has to offer.
