Last week it was announced that Hannibal Buress will be hosting the 19th annual Webby Awards, giving Patton Oswalt a much needed year off to focus on his own Twitter screeds. The Webbys, which will take place on May 19 and stream the next day on WebbyAwards.com, just released its list of nominees, and Vice Media leads the pack with 17 nominations. And although they didn’t get as many nominations as Vice, we’d be remiss not to mention that our sister publications, The Onion and ClickHole, were each nominated in humor categories this year. Voting for all categories is live now on the Webbys’ site, granting people the chance to vote on which companies get to labor over a five-word acceptance speech this year.
