The close runner-ups were Eric Clapton’s “Tears In Heaven” and Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” while the song most likely to make a woman cry was Lou Bega’s heartless ode to cheap polyamory “Mambo No. 5”—or it probably would have been, had they bothered asking the ladies.
