Warner Bros. bumps back Godzilla Vs. Kong
About a year after scheduling the titanic throwdown, Warner Bros. has shifted the release date for Godzilla Vs. Kong. According to Deadline, the wait just got a the teensiest bit shorter, as the original debut of May 29, 2020 has just jumped up to May 22, 2020. So we now have almost exactly three years to get ready for the long-awaited bout, which is now primed to have a monster opening weekend ahead of Memorial Day 2020. There’s no director currently attached to the project, but Terry Rossio of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise is apparently heading up a writers’ room to produce the script.
