Just because everyone seems to be nostalgic for the ’90s doesn’t mean the people who were actually there are all that keen get on board with the whole rose-colored-glasses thing. Just take Tiffani Thiessen, a.k.a. Kelly from Saved By The Bell. Thiessen has a whole career’s worth of other stuff she’d probably prefer to talk about (she currently stars on White Collar), but the folks at the Today Show had other ideas.
During a Today guest spot, Thiessen was presented with a replica of The Max, the diner from Saved By The Bell, for some classic TV trivia against Willie Geist and Natalie Morales. As Al Roker prepared to ask the first question, Dennis Haskins, a.k.a. Mr. Belding, the principal from Saved By The Bell, dropped in to “just say hi real quick” and repeat his catchphrase from the show.
