The Hold Steady will release a new album, Teeth Dreams, later this spring. The record—which should prompt dozens of record reviewers to note that dreaming about losing teeth typically relates to anxiety—drops March 25. It's the Minnesota band's first in nearly four years, and its first with new label, Washington Square, after issuing previous releases on Vagrant.
The Hold Steady also have a number of winter tour dates lined up in advance of the release, including two 10th anniversary shows. Dates for all confirmed performances are below.
The band is also about to release an all-covers, crowd-funded EP, RAGS. Proceeds from that record will benefit the K + L Guardian Foundation, a nonprofit set up to support the family of Mike “Jersey Mike” Van Jura, an incredibly devoted Hold Steady fan who died in late 2012.
