It’s been almost exactly a year since we first saw a teaser for Anchorman 2, and yet the film is still trying its damnedest to avoid giving everything away, despite the near-daily efforts of the entertainment press. (Speaking of which, hey, Drake is also in it! Try to act surprised.) So just like the last time we saw them, the Channel 4 News Team is still strutting around a soundstage like men who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn, and still spouting references to their catchphrases like men who really want you to come relive 2004 with them. Still nothing in the way of an actual plot, of course—unless you count Brick’s advancing mental deterioration—as this thing continues to escalate slowly.
