Apple's streaming service could launch as early as April, may have shows from HBO and Starz
The dark days of only being able to refer to Apple’s streaming service in annoyingly vague terms may actually be coming to an end relatively soon, as Rolling Stone reports that The Information has heard from entertainment industry sources that Apple is planning to launch the service “in mid-April.” We’ve spent years hearing about the various projects Apple has in development for the still-unnamed service, including stuff from high-profile content creators like Jennifer Aniston, M. Night Shyamalan, Damien Chazelle, and Steven Spielberg, but this is the first time we’ve heard any information—rumor or otherwise—about when the streaming thing might launch.
