After a process of elimination that involved asking dozens of potential actresses whether they were Sarah Connor, the trail of bodies and senseless bloodshed has at last led to Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke. As reported earlier, Clarke was in close contention with Brie Larson for the role in the Terminator reboot, which will find her playing the future mother of rebel leader John Connor (likely to be played by Jason Clarke; no relation), in a story that involves yet another revision to the story’s twisted timeline. And Deadline adds that it hears the storyline also involves “a trip into the future,” which is, frankly, one timeline twist too many to consider on a Friday night. You can if you want to.
