Beck releasing new single on Jack White's Third Man Records

Everyone wants to make a record with Jack White, apparently. First, his record label, Third Man Records, released singles by Stephen Colbert, Reggie Watts, John C. Reilly, and Conan O'Brien, among others. Now he's wrangled a one-off 7-inch from Beck.

"I Just Started Hating Some People Today"/"Blue Randy" will be released May 28 via ThirdManRecords.com, iTunes, and at fine retailers nationwide, including the Third Man Records store in Nashville. The vast majority of the records will be on plain black vinyl, though an extremely limited run of about 100 tri-color seven-inches will be available at Randy's Records in Salt Lake City Saturday, June 2. 50 more will be scattered throughout mail orders of the record send from Third Man.

Beck laid down the tracks in 2011 when he was in Nashville working on his upcoming full-length, which he's just maybe gearing up to announce soon, as evidenced by last night's show at the El Rey in Los Angeles and this weekend's headlining slot at the Sasquatch Festival.
