Bored Warner Bros. execs rearrange their schedule for The Lego Movie 2
Having already watched all the good cartoons that aren’t for babies, and then finished their afternoon snack, executives at Warner Bros. have followed the examples of bored children everywhere and idly wandered over to rearrange their Legos for a while. Deadline is reporting that the studio has pushed The Lego Movie 2 back nine months on its upcoming movie schedule, from May 2018 to February 8, 2019. Directed by Rob Schrab from a script by original Lego Movie masterminds Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the sequel will now come out almost exactly five years after its predecessor first hit theaters. (Another Lego movie, Lego Batman, will arrive next year.)
