Bravo developing Rules Of Attraction series
Stymied thus far in attempts to make TV shows out of The Joneses, Heathers, and Death Becomes Her, Bravo remains determined to make a series out of something in Andy Cohen’s movie collection, this time moving on to Rules Of Attraction. The show from writer-producer Roger Avary—who also wrote and directed the 2002 film of the same name—will be a similar “high-concept” adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel, unraveling a murder-mystery at a tony school for the young and exceedingly privileged, where they also learn all about the rules of attraction. (Those rules are outlined as follows: 1. Be a rich college kid with unlimited access to drugs, sociopathic tendencies, and no apparent academic commitments. 2. Smile!)
