A U.K. call to action pushed the president to call Springsteen a "pushy, obnoxious JERK" and a whole slew of other names.

This “dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker” sure as hell isn’t keeping his mouth shut, despite Donald Trump’s plea/thinly veiled threat on Truth Social last week. The president had one of his typical temper tantrums—in which he implied that something would happen to the “Born In The U.S.A.” singer, a private citizen, if he didn’t shut up—when he learned that longtime critic Bruce Springsteen was using his European tour to evangelize about everything wrong with the “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration” that took control of “the America I love.”

Now, that speech is up on Spotify, Apple Music, and the like. This morning, Springsteen released a live EP titled Land Of Hope And Dreams that enshrines his anti-Trump rallying cries as intros to various songs. In other words, anyone with access to a streaming platform can now listen to the “Born In The U.S.A.” singer “ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experience to rise with us, raise your voices against the authoritarianism, and let freedom ring” whenever they want, completely on demand.

In his original Truth Social post, Trump wrote, “I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United State. Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy—Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country.” He also, bizarrely, rehashed the completely baseless claim that Springsteen (and Beyoncé, Oprah, and Bono, for some reason) were paid to endorse Kamala Harris, and threatened a “major investigation into this matter.”

He also, unsurprisingly, isn’t too pleased with Springsteen’s new EP. This morning, the president posted an edited video appearing to show him hitting a golf ball that knocked Springsteen down. But no matter—fans can drown it out with the new live recordings. You can watch Springsteen’s speech below:
