Cardi B announces her debut album, Invasion Of Privacy

Cardi B is one of rap’s hottest rising stars—and one if its most record-breaking. She was the first solo female rapper to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since Lauryn Hill in 1998 with her song “Bodak Yellow” last September, and in January she set another record as the third artist ever—and first hip-hop artist—to have their first three singles on the Billboard Top 10 at the same time. (As Noisey points out, those would be her features on G Eazy’s “No Limit” and Migos’ “Motorsport,” as well as, of course, “Bodak Yellow.”)
Cardi B released two mixtapes, both called Gangsta Bitch Music, in 2016 and 2017. But now she’s officially announced a release date for the full-length studio album—her first–she’s been teasing for months. Last night, she posted the album’s title, Invasion Of Privacy, and cover art on Instagram:
