As Garfield Minus Garfield and Calvin Minus Hobbes demonstrated, sometimes subtracting something from famous comics can add so much. Specifically, so much depression. Turns out, Jon Arbuckle and Calvin [last name unknown] talking to themselves was just the tip of the sadness iceberg. Enter 3eanuts, a comic that eliminates the fourth panel of old Peanuts cartoons—the one that typically spun the previous forlorn ponderings into a slightly less forlorn joke of some kind. Now sans humor, Peanuts reads like the transcription of Charles Schultz's therapy sessions, where pauses speak volumes, mysteries are revealed, and the world is an unrelenting misery factory. So, basically, Peanuts.
