Charlie Sheen offers gratitude, Errol Flynn comparisons
As the shadows grow long and the evening creeps in, the hour arrives for your now-obligatory update on Charlie Sheen. Today it’s an extra-special invocation from Sheen himself, who breaks the silence of his current involuntary self-reflective state to offer a few words of gratitude to his fans and the people who continue to supply him with vast sums of money:
“I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people. I want to say ‘thank-you’ to my fellow cast members, the crew of Two And A Half Men and everyone at CBS and Warner Bros., especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support. And to my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much. Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion, I just want to say, ‘thank-you.’”
In this simile, of course, Errol Flynn is Charlie Sheen, and the “sword” in question is “starring on Two And A Half Men,” we guess. Either that or “doing briefcases of blow with porn stars.” Anyway, so endeth our Daily AffirmaSheen, which is something we’re not planning on making a regular thing of, really.
