Lena Waithe’s The Chi returns for its second season this spring, and Showtime just released a new teaser offering a brief check-in with the drama’s sprawling ensemble. First up is Kevin (Alex R. Hibbert), who offers a chilling introduction to the sophomore outing. “I like basketball, video games, drawing,” he says, sounding like your average pre-teen. “I’ll probably do something like that if I grow up.” The “if,” it goes without saying, goes a long way in setting up The Chi’s stakes.
