Chicago, come hang out with Drew Barrymore and The A.V. Club on October 30
Drew Barrymore is currently on tour to promote her second memoir, Wildflower, a collection of autobiographical essays that begins with her emancipation at the age of 14 and talks about her experiences in Hollywood and as a mom of two daughters. (Her first memoir, Little Girl Lost, came out in 1991 and covered her tumultuous pre-teen years.) Needless to say, Barrymore’s got a lot to talk about, and she’ll be talking to The A.V. Club’s Marah Eakin about it at her Chicago (okay, Naperville, but close enough) stop on October 30. The event begins at 7 PM at the Community Christian Church in Naperville; advance tickets can be purchased here. As for the rest of you poor saps outside of the Windy City, the rest of Barrymore’s book tour dates are below.
