Chicago Med lost its showrunner, too
Chicago Med, the second planned spinoff to NBC’s Chicago Fire, appears to have been hit with an epidemic of wandering feet. Earlier this month, Walking Dead star Laurie Holden dropped out of the project, citing “family reasons” for her sudden departure. (Her character, troubled surgeon Hannah Tramble, was replaced with three new ones, two of whom have since been cast.) Now, the network is announcing that showrunner Andrew Dettmann, a veteran of TV series ranging from CSI to Ed, has stepped down as well. (No word yet on whether Dettmann’s family was also involved in the change, but you have to assume so, given how much families apparently hate Chicago Med.)
