Chicago, see Helen Mirren in Woman In Gold early and for free

Dame Helen Mirren and Ryan “Don’t Call It A Reynoldssance” Reynolds make an unlikely pair in Woman In Gold, the upcoming film from My Week With Marilyn director Simon Curtis. It’s the kind of Weinstein-backed, based-on-a-true-story film tangentially about World War II that would otherwise be considered Oscar bait if it weren’t coming out in April. Either way, it’s an interesting story and it just so happens to co-star a bunch of people from TV that you like: Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Charles Dance (Game Of Thrones), and Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey), among others. Woman In Gold opens in Chicago on April 1, but The A.V. Club and The Weinstein Company have an opportunity for you to see it for free on March 30. For your chance to win a pair of passes to the advance screening, simply follow the link here and enter the code WOMANINGOLD0330. As always, seats are first come, first served, so be sure to arrive early. An official plot synopsis and trailer can be found below.
